Alex Thomson dives off the top of a mast in his Hugo Boss suit ( although it takes skill to dive more than 30 meters while moving ) for the PR requirements of his sponsor, Hugo Boss. . Photos and videos of Thompson Keel Walking, Mast Walking and Sail Boarding while dressed in a Hugo Boss suit and necktie were seen around the world on the Internet, and television, magazines and news papers.

His daring ways proved to be a great way of getting Hugo Boss to foot the bill for his challenge in the solo world yacht race.  All kidding aside he is the leader in the grueling single handed sailboat race in an older out of class boat that traverses the globe circumnavigating Antarctica in the treacherous Southern Ocean.
